During Embedded World 2024, Toradex's Michael Park and Stefano Viola presented a significant milestone for Torizon, Toradex's industrial Linux distribution! Torizon OS is now supported for third-party hardware like Raspberry Pi 5, RISC-V, and x86 PCs.

With no vendor lock-in and an active collaborating community on GitHub, Toradex is inviting all to contribute to the future of Torizon OS.

Michael and Stefano also discussed the new Debian Plugin that enables easy integration with Debian or Ubuntu systems.

With the new subsystem update capability, Torizon now facilitates more than ever secure remote updates for firmware and peripheral devices.
